One does not actually happen to exist (AI) the other is not actually happening (CoA)
Both will save and/or destroy the world
Both have been predicted as inevitable since the 1950s
One will usher in a new utopian social order (AI), the other will usher in a new socialism (CoA)
One is the golden child of the silicon valley capitalist (AI), the other is the red headed stepchild of the Washington capitalists (CoA)
One uses artificial neural networks to mimic the activity of the human brain based on unproven and oversimplified theories of how it works and learns, while simultaneously ignoring the fact that many competing theories that are just as likely to be correct exist (AI), the other uses the Fox news network to implicate the American public based on unproven and oversimplified theories of how much influence they have while simultaneously ignoring the fact that the vast majority of Americans find Fox news repulsive (CoA)
