Exactly Like You
What Would the World be Like if Everybody Was
Do you ever wonder what the world would be like if everybody was exactly like yourself?I don’t mean a bunch of clone you’s running around who all look exactly the same and probably have some similar personality traits, but beyond that are fairly different. I mean if everybody was exactly like you in every way. They felt the same way about every issue, believed in the same things, shared the same values, liked the same music, listened to the same podcasts, etc. Setting aside the fact that this is a totally unrealistic scenario, ask yourself the question of what that world would be like. Would all the you’s be happy, sad, bored silly, at war with each other, living in a blissful utopia? What would everyone do for a job? If you all like the exact same things presumably you would all be attracted to the same profession, and want to do the same work. If that were the case though who would teach all the you’s since nobody would want to be teacher (or maybe you all would). I could go on and on with questions like these, and it is an interesting question to ponder. I have considered it a lot myself and I don’t know is the answer I consistently come up with. You got a better one?
