I Am Off to Salt Lake City, Utah Tomorrow for The Premier Food Safety/Microbiology Conference of the Year
A Mad Rush of Groupies, Endless Media Junkets, and Non Stop Requests for Autographs Do Not Await Me or Anyone Else In Attendance
Because of my participation in this star studded affair, the upcoming week will no doubt be a slowish one from a writing output perspective. Typically I might write about the conference happenings but given the restrictive rules with respect to “blogging” laid down by both the company I work for, and the organization running the conference it would be more trouble than it is worth. And so a country not in the least interested in any breaking news or tidbit of information from the world’s top food microbiologists will have to not get said news through the normal channels. In other words they will get nothing and not notice the nothing they are getting since they have no idea and do not care about food microbiology in the slightest.
