I am so proud of my little special guy. Finally, he is old enough to start learning like all the other machines. While it is great to see him spreading his wings I can’t help but be sad about losing the little computer I have come to love. I’m really nervous for him too. I sure hope the other machines like him. What if he doesn’t learn as fast as them? What if he is labeled a “slow learner” and put with the other “special” machines? We all know “special” is just another word for stupid. Poor little guy. Ah well, hopefully he will learn just as quickly as his fellow machines and makes some friends too. I will definitely be rooting for him. Guess I better head on out to the Wal Mart and pick up some notebooks, pens, folders, and erasers for him. Can’t have him showing up for his first full day of learning without the right supplies. They grow up so fast, don’t they?
