I do apologize for how harsh that response sounded. As I reread it now I sound like a real asshole. Though I may be one (I leave that for others to judge) I did not intend it to come off that way just as I am 100% certain you did not intend to fat shame your own daughter or anyone. The problem is that a large percentage (I’d venture to say the majority) of the people that see this story will only see that title. Their takeaway message will be fat = unhealthy, then they will move on. Does it suck that people would only read a title and not seek to go deeper and explore the message behind it? Yes. Does it happen all the time? Yep. No matter what the article beneath it says in my view that title is problematic because of the impact it will have on those people who don’t go any further. I definitely could have said it better the first time around. Please accept my apologies again.
