I Made a New Friend Today
And We Will Be Friends Forever
The last thing I was expecting yesterday when I opened my latest package delivery from Amazon was to make a new forever friend. It’s funny how fate and destiny have a way intervening when you least expect it. Yes, it is a bit odd being best friends with my shower head, but no more odd than my three previous besties Uranus Yoda, Ucaca Wa, and Open Championship 2017. Previously they were my biggest fans on Medium and some of my earliest (bot) followers. U-Yod and Waaaaaaas Up were at least theoretically real people while OC17 was nothing more than an abstract game concept term (golf tournament). That did not stop the four of us from painting the town red together from time to time. A retelling of one of our wacky adventures is linked below.
I miss those blokes sometimes but I am a different person now. To old for late night carousing and bar hopping but too young for all night Bridge tournaments. Enter (Katie) Couric the showerhead. Six different settings from Ooh to Ooh La la. I have always wanted a bestie who would bathe with me, now I have one who will actually bathe me. Sweet!
