Is this topic not played out already? How many more articles can there be on the do’s and don’t of using fat arrow functions in ES6? At this point doesn’t everybody already know that arrow functions are a concise way of writing functions that are much shorter than what ES5 required? And I am really get sick and tired of everybody blathering on and on about the wide variety of syntaxes available? Yesterday alone I must have read three web articles, listened to two podcasts, and seen at least one local television news segment telling me the same thing. I say enough already with the fat arrow function hype machine. Concise or no, ES6 and fat arrow functions are way too overexposed! It makes me long for the good old days back when ES5 was as anonymous as its syntax. When will this madness end. This countries obsession with arrow functions will be its undoing. Mark my words.
