Lol! Good luck with that. My advice, run as far away as fast as you can. 23andMe’s “cutting edge” genetic testing services are about as cutting edge as a butter knife. It’s “health” reports are almost as useful as it’s ancestry reports, which is to say, not very or not at all. Now it is dabbling in drug development, a surefire loser for a company with little cash and no pipeline. And recruiting it’s customer base for a “study” of how DNA effects weight loss is a different way of saying could not afford actual study and could not raise any money because it has zero chance of success and/or no clear metrics or idea of what it is actually studying. On the plus side if you go to work for them now, when they get bought out in 5–10 years for a rock bottom price you might get a sweet severance package. On the other hand I have been known to be overly sceptical, hah!
