Look no further then the very title of your own article for evidence of this. Despite what your title implies fat does not always equal unhealthy. Moreover the definition of “fat” varies as widely the relative negative health consequences of a persons weight on any given individual. I can totally appreciate the message of your piece but it is somewhat undercut by the harshness of its title which equates being overweight with having a disease. Obesity may be considered a disease though even that is somewhat controversial. Being “fat” or overweight is almost never a disease nor is it always unhealthy.
