Member Feature Stories are Back!

And We Still Cannot Comment on Them

After a brief week or so the much buzzed about Medium member feature story section has returned to my home page! Once my orgasm subsided I quickly scanned for the first interesting sounding feature-rrific article I could find. Suddenly I spotted it “How to Find Your Comedic Persona” by legendary something or other Mookie “the Mook” Wilson aka Mook from Ork aka the Mookie Monster. Surely this was advice I could use, and since it was selected to be “featured” by the editorial staff of this storied web site, the quality of the article could not be called into question. Long story short, it was fine I guess, I didn’t really read it. Mostly I laughed about the name Mookie and kept trying to come up with clever nicknames for persons named Mookie, a task for which I fared surprisingly poorly (see above). I finally made it to the end and prepared to unleash one of my classic DeMarco comments featuring a listing of the various Mookie nicknames I had dreamed up. I began to sweat in feverish anticipation grinning as I imagined all the tens of people who might read my comment laughing at my jokes and thinking what a great person and writer I was. Who knows maybe even Mookie himself might see the comment and have a chuckle. But wait, where is the comment bubble thingie? How will Mookie ever know about my genius if I can’t post a response to his fine article? These and many other questions remain unanswered as of the time of my writing this, March 2, 2018 5:17am EST.
