No worries. Keep in mind what I said in the piece. Testing is only a small component of food safety. Its the area I know the most about so of course I’m gonna be biased in its favor. One thing I failed to mention in the post that is relevant and very much works in the industries favor is how low a volume product these edibles are compared to many more common food commodities. Any outbreak would necessarily be limited in scope because of the much lower overall population that would/could be exposed to contaminated product.
It sounds like you have bigger fish to fry still on the worker health and safety front. I wouldn’t let this issue distract you from the important work you are doing there. This is my little niche area but it doesn’t need to be yours and shouldn’t be with everything else you have on your plate. The more you can mention it great and I will be more than happy with just that.
