Some additional meanderings, again inspired by Rezny, have led me to another possible use for partial simulation hypotheses. They may be able to function as rebuttals or alternatives if one finds the ‘too good to be true’ argument against SH1 compelling enough to dismiss it entirely as plausible yet still wants to maintain at least the possibility of simulation playing a role in the universe we experience.
