Thank you for the compliment and I am glad to see there are still some optimists out there. I am going to steal “quantum evolution of the mind” for the blurb on the back of my first self help techno thriller. It is the story of a possible near future where an artificially intelligent cyborg police lieutenant (played in the movie adaptation by an aging Justin Bieber) hunts down and ultimately catches an evil robot crime lord driven mad by his insatiable desire for machine learning. Along the way everyone learns valuable life lessons and pithy cliches are presented as deep, ancient wisdom fit for public consumption by the unwashed masses.
I am pitching it to my agent as Deepak Chopra meets Dan Brown in a world built by William Gibson. The working title is The Lost City of the Neuromancer: What are You Hungry For? It can’t miss! Obviously, it won’t use those exact words in that exact order because of significant copyright constraints but my lawyer tells we can be pretty darn close. In any event the blurb on the back is now going to read “…..Lost City/Neuromancer is nothing less than a quantum evolution of the mind©®™, it is the self help techno crime thriller of 2022, Buy it now, seriously, go freakin buy it now, like as many copies as you can afford, hurry, go…”
Sorry but you will get no royalties, you should have copyrighted and or trademarked the phrase before sharing. Also, too late as I already did as you can plainly see in the above paragraph. Oh well, better luck next time, you snooze you lose, etc. Note to self add blnt and ysyl to list of valuable life lessons for cash in book.
