Very well said as usual bro. The world very much needs more educators like yourself right now. I was one of those arrogant assholes too. Coasting through school on my genetic lottery win. I may have went to actual class at a rate similar to your average dropout, yet I still always managed to ace most every exam. I was fortunate because I loved to read and devoured my course textbooks in the first week or two after I got them.

All I can say is please don’t give up trying. I still believe, need to believe, that within every arrogant SOB (no sexism implied or intended, women are just as arrogant) there lies a Martin (or Martine)Rezny just waiting to come out. Lol!

The very fact that you can comment so intelligently and eloquently on your chosen profession speaks volumes to your quality. Yes I am brown nosing but in this case it is appropriate and deserved. Temper your cynicism and focus on the good you are doing now and will no doubt achieve in the future. It only takes one baby (pick your savior) to save the world. You could be the man (or woman) who teaches and inspires them to greatness.
