You Want to Write at an 8th-Grade Level or Below
No I Don’t
A recent article explaining how to write articles that “get noticed” on Medium suggested that you should be writing at an 8th grade level or below. The author, a “top writer in artificial intelligence,” went on to say that “6th grade seems to be the sweet spot.” Of course I had to bang out a parody article in response to this but I also wanted to respond specifically in more detail to this one particular bit of advice. See below.
